READING JOURNEYS

READING JOURNEYS

WHAT IS A READING JOURNEY?

Our love for words starts early and if we’re lucky we are encouraged and enthused to explore our world and its people through languages and literature.

Our Reading Journeys are personal and will often expand across many genres. School encourages (and sometimes pushes!) us to take steps along our literature journey. However, once we hit adulthood, it becomes our independent responsibility to keep our reading journey moving. Many of us, however much we try, won’t manage to sustain our reading intentions.

What if we could re-invigorate and blend our reading experiences as we age, in tandem with building excitement for the written word with our younger generations?

Intertextuality and Comparative Literature education is the way I hope to connect themes and issues in children’s literature with similar topics and discussion points in adult fiction, paving the way for families to share meaningful moments fueled by their individual age-specific reading.

Membership is one of our options: Join my Online BookClub for a reasonable monthly or annual payment. See below for details of what you’ll receive.
